In the spring of 2023, while getting her daughter ready for prom, Julie wished there was a similar event for mothers. Remembering a "mom prom" from years past in Newark, OH, she decided to investigate. To her surprise, she found out that Mom Prom was a trademarked charity event.

Thrilled by the discovery, Julie began planning but soon realized she needed help. A mutual friend recommended partnering with Abbie, who had valuable connections in the Licking County. Together, Julie and Abbie became the ultimate party-planning duo.

Their inaugural Mom Prom raised over $4,000 for HOPE Landing, a charity aiding former foster kids. Their subsequent prom also generated over $4,000 for Victims Services of East Ohio, which supports women and children in crisis. Most recently, they raised over $4,800 for A Night To Shine.

Motivated by their achievements, Julie and Abbie are excited start planning their next Mom Prom.
